It is made from some sort of cast metal which is non-magnetic .
It stands a little over 5 inches tall by 3 1/2 inches wide and is 1 3/4 inches from front to back.
The thick convex lens has a brass bezel.
The outside diameter of the lens cover is 2 3/8 inches, and the inside diameter is 2 inches.
The hole in the clock case in which the lens cover seats is 2 1/8 inches. The hole in the back of the case in which the clockworks would have been seated is also 2 1/8 inches.
This gorgeous old clock case weighs 14 ounces, and appears as though it may have originally been painted white.
This is a metal detector find from around an old stone foundation. It has been lightly washed to remove the dirt.
There is one small freeze crack on the back, that is really insignificant, and the lens has a bit of ground action scratching on it. Overall, it is in super condition to either restore or to display.
